Bespoke Cable Assemblies
As an ISO 9001 accredited company, we are committed to producing high quality cable assemblies to a wide range of industries.
We can build these assemblies based on a customers own drawings or from the design of our in-house technical team when a sample is produced.
Here at Cablepoint we offer a range of facilities to make your project run smoothly:
Box Builds and Control Panels
After a cable assembly has been produced, the next step often includes a box build or a control panel assembly.
Working closely with our customers throughout the manufacturing process, we can offer electrical control panels and box builds that operate reliably in any working environment.
Wiring Looms / Harnesses
Alongside our bespoke cable assemblies, we are able to offer wiring looms and harnesses to all our customers. To ensure that our work is to a high standard, we submit a prototype to a new customer, or new product for existing customers, for approval before continuing with the rest of the batch.
Along with producing a prototype for all new assemblies which are brought into the manufacturing process, we also design and produce our own Jig boards which are used to ensure all looms and harnesses are made correctly.
Throughout the manufacturing process, the looms and harnesses are subject to individual probe testing and overall Cimbian testing to ensure that each wire within the loom or harness is 100% connected.
Our quality team also inspect every product visually before the batch is dispatched to the customer.
In order to supply high quality products to all our potential and existing customers, we provide a prototype of the new assembly before continuing with the rest of the batch.
The prototype is assembled from either a customer drawing, or a sample of the assembly provided which our engineering and technical team can reverse engineer. This is to ensure we get the assembly exactly right the first time.
Once the prototype has been produced, it goes through 4 quality assessments here at Cablepoint before being dispatched to the customer for approval.
