Situated on Sutton Fields Industrial Estate in Hull, Cablepoint was formed as a privately owned cable assembly manufacturer in 1991. With a workforce of over 40 employees, our company owned premises provide approximately 1500m2 of production capability.

Cablepoint Ltd is a dedicated British manufacturer, a team of innovators, engineers and customer champions who love bringing interconnect challenges to life, whether complex or simple. From cable assemblies and wiring looms to overmoulded solutions, fibre optics and full electromechanical box builds, everything we create is built right here in our 15,000 square foot Hull facility. Complete in-house manufacturing means complete control, giving our customers quality, consistency and peace of mind from the very first conversation through to final delivery.
From 1972 to Today: Precision Engineering Built on Experience
As an SME, Cablepoint delivers high quality electromechanical solutions to a diverse range of industries across both domestic and international markets.
Our story began in 1972, with the current owners purchasing the company in 1991. Over more than three decades since, we have refined our craft, expanded our capabilities and built long-standing partnerships across the defence, medical, industrial, marine, transport, security and entertainment sectors. Today, our production floor combines modern engineering with decades of hands-on expertise, powered by advanced technology including automated terminating equipment, GLW stripping machines, moulding and potting systems, and comprehensive electrical testing facilities.
Skilled People, Right First Time
Our people are at the heart of Cablepoint. Ninety-nine percent of our operatives are IPC620 certified, supported by an in-house trainer and a structured competency matrix that keeps skills sharp and standards high. Detailed process sheets, sign-off at every
stage of the build, and first-off assemblies for new projects all help us get it right first time. When you work with us, you’re working with a team that genuinely cares about the details and takes pride in doing things properly. You’ll always find us responsive to calls,
emails and general queries.

Environmental monitoring instruments providerI’ve received the sample wires you sent and I’ve tested them and they are all working correctly and are very good quality given the size of the crimps.
